Note - Elgg is a social networking clone of Websites like facebook and orkut.It was also awarded the open source award of year 2007.Cool interface with rounded corners , easy to customize and features like wire post and spotlight make it stand ahead of the league of other social networking scripts.In my opinion it is the best Open source social networking script so far.Better than PHP fox and Buddypress.The recent developments are having features like Facebook connect and having a twitter login.
