Moodle is an open source script for education related social networking websites. Many reputed universities across the world have implemented moodle for their online courses and student performance management. There are many modules like Online testing and online assignment which makes running an educational website pretty easy. The size of the moodle script is very large. The reason is huge number of features associated with it. Moodle is a highly secure script. I haven't seen many open source scripts at such a bug free state. The only problem is that its a little bit slow. You will have to enable gzip to make it fast once you install it.
